MiMILLI Leather
Mimilli was a passion project that started in 2015. I had a love for leather and screen printing and a curiosity for what would happen if you combined the two.
I designed a collection of leather handbags, raw edged with minimal hardware. Sourced and handmade in Sydney by a boutique leather maker, then screenprinted by yours truly. I also screenprinted linen dust bags all sewn locally. I have two products, with 20 of each.
These are for sale, I was very slow to set up a shop after the birth of my first child. If you’re interested please get in touch.
2015
TEA TOWEL
I designed these screen printed tea towels as our wedding favours. Within the pattern there are particular shapes that tell our story. i.e A boat; as we met on a Sydney Ferry, A ring; A heart; A Swiss flag; we lived in Zurich for a year as well as the Sydney Opera house.
The printed wrap contained silly messages for our guests; 'This tea towel could add 5 years to your marriage if used correctly', 'We hope our marriage lasts as long as this tea towel', and 'We fell short on the budget would you mind helping with the washing up'.
