Miller Rose. Auckland, NZ
Miller Rose is a fine art print collection created 'on the side' by an already very busy Auckland photographer, Keryn Sweeney. Named after her 3 year old daughter, this is a 'love' project that is close to her heart. Her prints largely consist of beautiful edgy and unique floral compositions. These prints were already sold around Auckland and online, but were sold under Keryn's name, and she wanted to make more of them and create an experience with a new premium brand.
When Keryn came to me with this brief I was very excited to create a brand that was luxe and premium to reflect the prints themselves. I also wanted to enhance the experience of purchasing the print with beautiful packaging and printed goods. It's the consistency of brand and these details that would make her customers feel special and part of the Miller Rose luxury brand.
2018
Custom printed cardboard tubes were created and printed in Auckland. These were printed with one colour and didn't break Keryn's budget believe it or not! Amazing. The gold foiled labels are blank for filling in the details of each print. They can be added to the tube on just the right angle, to fit perfectly with the rose print. This was all part of creating a beautiful package for the customer, that they could feel proud for purchasing and maybe re-use.
We added to experience by printing a gold foiled branded postcard. Not only was it a beautiful take-away for the customer, it doubled as a thank you card for Keryn to write a personal note. Inside the tube, each print is wrapped in white tissue paper and sealed with a gold foiled branded sticker. All these small additions together created a beautiful experience for the customer and a feeling of luxe.
We kept the website simple and used a templated shoplify site which made it easy for Keryn to update and use herself. It was easy to adapt to fit with her new branding and was also cost effective.
